 What are Township Hall office hours?

Clerk, Mary Aldrich - Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 4 pm.

Treasurer, Mary Irving - Friday from 9 to 5 pm.

Assessor, Kara Dougherty - 2nd Saturday of each month from 9 to 12 pm.

Supervisor, Troy Radcliff - 269-979-4191 Monday thru Saturday 9:00 to 5:00

 What is the easiest way to get permits ?

BE SURE YOU HAVE PROPER ZONING APPROVAL -THEN

Print the desired permit(s).

Fill them out and mail them in.

 How do I turn in a road problem or pothole ?

4. Report on mobile app SeeClickFix (instructions on the county website)

5. Visit the Calhoun County Road Department at 13300 Fifteen Mile Road, Marshall, MI 49068 (public office hours are 7 am- 3 pm, Monday thru Friday)

 

 Do I need a permit for a recreational fire?

Not if the fire complies with the following rules.

1. It is contained to a 3ft by 3ft area 

2. No hazardous or building materials are burned.

3. It is at least 50ft from any structure.

4. There is ample water to extinguish the fire if it escapes its allowed area and when the event is over.

5. Remember you are responsible to control any fire you set, and are liable for any damage it causes.  

 

 What are the dates for cemetery decorations?

1. Artificial wreaths and sprays may be placed on graves from November 1st to April1st.

2. All decorations will be removed after April 1st to prepare for summer mowing.

3. Also any decoration that detracts from the neat and orderly appearance of the cemetery

    or interferes with other lots may be removed by the Supervisor.
